On-Site Visit: Sintered Microfiltration Membrane

The delegation toured Dongou’s exhibition hall and production workshops, where they learned about Dongou’s 40-year history and its leading position in China’s sintered microfiltration membrane industry. Dongou team presented the technical features and application scenarios of its core offerings – rigid polymer sintered micro-porous membranes and custom-engineered filtration & concentration systems tailored to client needs.

Symposium Highlights

At the tripartite meeting, ZJU shared recent progress in microfiltration material research. Prof. Heba outlined NRC’s work on photocatalytic, nanofiltration, and ceramic membranes, plus ongoing projects on fluoride reduction, humic acid removal, and solar desalination – with active collaborations in China, Germany, India, Italy, and Sweden. Dongou’s Marketing manager Ms.Ye presented its filtration solutions for non-ferrous metals, pharmaceuticals, new energy, and chemicals industries.

Next Steps

With ZJU as a bridge, the three parties aim to deepen cooperation, linking university research with industrial application and international market expansion. Dongou will continue advancing its proprietary microfiltration technologies for broader international deployment, while staying attuned to global frontier research to inform its product development and market strategy. This exchange serves as an important window for Dongou to engage with world-class research resources and explore future partnerships.
